Nearly 15 Months Old

Well hola everyone! Been too long. Just wanted to shout out to anyone visiting and say that I still read lots of the blogs that are still standing on my roll over there to the left. And some others, too. I still check in to cyclesista to see what's happening. Once a sista always a sista.

Everything good here. Boy and Girl are nearly 15 months old and really fun. They're popping molars, Girl is walking and Boy is taking a few steps, too. They hug and kiss each other and us. Boy throws and ball and chases it and loves books and music. Girl is extremely social and is a real ham who loves to imitate - she's got at least 10 words now. They amaze me daily. Hubs and I are starting to actually like each other again, after a friggin' HARD year with twin infants

I got my period after stopping breastfeeding. Holy crap, was it heavy. I mean HEAVY. Anyone else experience this? And it is taking a long time for my boobs to feel normal after stopping the breastfeeding - ouch. Advice?

Ok, that's it for now, got to get some stuff done around here. Drop a line if you're still reading!

Wow 15 months! That went quickly!

I never got a break with Aunt F, I BFed for 12 months and still the bag came to visit every month! UGG

As for stopping bf'ing, the girl weaned herself so that went well as she did it slowly. With the boys they quit quickly so I just pumped a little off until I was back to normal.

Good luck, glad to hear from you!

So nice to read an update. Sounds like they are doing wonderfully and you are definitely in the super fun stage. Glad everyone is doing well. Can't help on the BFing front, because weaning does not seem to be happening here, ever.

Hi there-
Wow-- how exciting!!

Thanks for checking out my site and sending me a congrats comment.

Early on, when I was going through the IVF testing and initial cycle, I read your blog all the time. It totally gave me hope, as I'm sure it does for many other women going through the trials tribulations of starting a family. Just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement your blog offered me (and you probably had no idea :).

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been affected by your stories.

Thanks sister!!!

Hey hey! Fifteen months already! How time flies. So the second year is easier, or is that just twins, or just your twins?

Anyway, thanks for the update. Still readin' along here.

I'm still here and getting inspiration from a fellow IVF twin mama! Really- I may start to really like my husband again once my babies are 15 months old?! It sounds like you nursed for a while... awesome work!

Hi there!
I read over on Jennifer's blog that you're in the same area. If you're ever up for getting the kids together (mine are boy/girl too), let me know! Always looking for someone else in the trenches!
