12w Good News

Our CVS results came back normal. We are extremely relieved. And these are the final CVS results, with cultures and all. We still have to do AFP testing at around 15 weeks.

We now know the sex of the wigglers: one girl and one boy. Thank you, universe. So far so good. I still can't help the difficult scenarios that my brain thinks up. I hope I continue to become more optimistic as time goes on.

So... we're coming out of the closet slowly today. We're being really choosy and careful about who we're telling first. We have so many friends who have experienced loss and fertility problems that we want to tell them first, and gently, and coming straight from us. I hate this part of it. Especially with twins. It's not fair. Makes me sick to my stomach. And it's not the morning sickness.

Congrats! What a relief the results are good.

You know what your friends have gone through, that will make the world of difference.

Congrats! One boy and one girl--what a blessing!

I understand your stress about telling infertile friends about twins. But I think given what you too have gone through they will be happy for you, and it won't be that bad. I know I love a good infertile success story, even when the fertile pregancies stung.

Wow, the infertile jackpot. You lucky, lucky people!

Congratulations on the good test results and the b/g news. I remember how excited I was the day I learned we were having a boy and a girl. I know how hard it is to tell people who are struggling themselves but knowing all you've been through they will also be happy for you and perhaps you will give them some hope.

I am in similar boat as well (about telling friends who have fert problems and suffered losses). It is not fair isnt it?

And great news with the result from the CVS! A boy and a girl! Wow!!!!!

Congrats on the good results! One boy and one girl that's great!

I think anyone who has had problems and knows that you have had a struggle will be happy for you, and sometimes it gives others hope that it CAN happen.

Take care

Yay! and Yay! They can keep their given names...Batman being the girl, of course. ha ha.
No really...such great news. Try to allow yourself to feel joy in this great moment. Your IF friends will understand.
Thanks for the update!

I just found your blog after googling 7dp5dt and you succeeded in giving me chills after reading your current post!!! How wonderful to have one of each; that is absolutely awesome.
I also loved your 7dp5dt post...I've never seen a positive before either. I'm holding out for my beta but it's sooooo tempting.
I pray that you have a very happy, healthy pregnancy!!!

Congratulations! When I started my frozen cycle, I knew FET had low success rates, so I looked for a blog with a successful FET. This blog was yours, and you gave me great hope. Amusingly, it seems I might be also be pregnant with twins! Again, thank you for sharing your experience.
